About us
Founder’s Note
Kamalaire began with a shared instinct.
Not just to build a jewellery brand but to build something that felt rooted, relevant, and reflective of the women we are becoming. We are Janvi Jain and Nisha Joshi.
Best friends, partners, and believers in the same dream.
There is an age gap between us, but in many ways, it feels like we have walked the same journey. The same curiosity. The same ambition. The same quiet obsession with jewellery that tells a story.
We grew up surrounded by heirlooms. Watching our mothers and grandmothers carefully store away pieces meant for “special occasions.” We admired the weight of them — not just physically, but emotionally.
But we also knew something was shifting.
Today’s Indian woman is different. She moves forward with confidence. She blends tradition with individuality. She doesn’t wait for an occasion — she creates one.
Kamalaire was born at that intersection.
We wanted to create jewellery that feels heritage-inspired but designed for now. Pieces that carry the richness of the past but belong effortlessly in the present. Pieces that age beautifully and gather stories with you.
We stand at different stages of life — but our drive is the same.
To build an India-forward brand.
To celebrate craftsmanship.
To honour culture without being confined by it.
Every Kamalaire piece is handcrafted with intention. And every order placed with us feels deeply personal.
This is not just a business for us. It is a reflection of friendship, trust, and shared vision.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in something we are building with our whole hearts.
We honour the past but we design for now. Every piece we create is handcrafted with precision, intention, and presence.
This brand is not accidental. It is built on friendship. On shared hunger. On the belief that modern Indian jewellery deserves a new voice.
With love,
Janvi Jain & Nisha Joshi
The Kamalaire Girls
Brand Story
Kamalaire was born from a simple but powerful belief. Heritage should not be archived. It should be worn.
For generations, jewellery in India has symbolised celebration, status, and legacy. It has been locked in velvet boxes. Preserved for weddings. Reserved for “someday.”
But India is evolving. And so is the woman who wears it.
She is ambitious. Global. Rooted. She respects tradition — but she does not live in it. She leads boardrooms, builds businesses, attends weddings, hosts dinners, and creates her own milestones.
Kamalaire was created for her.
Founded by Nisha and Janvi, Kamalaire was built with a clear vision — to reimagine traditional Indian jewellery for the woman of today. We grew up surrounded by heirlooms rich in detail, meaning, and memory. But we also saw how jewellery was often admired, stored away, and saved for later. Kamalaire challenges that idea.
Here, jewellery is not just about looking beautiful. It is about expression. Identity. Confidence.
Where Craft Meets Contemporary
Our pieces draw inspiration from heirloom silhouettes — polkis, kundans, and timeless motifs — reinterpreted through a modern lens. Each design is handcrafted with precision and intention. Gold polished. Selectively 18k gold plated. Designed to age beautifully.
We create statement pieces meant to gather stories. Bold yet wearable. Rooted yet expressive. Each Kamalaire piece carries the richness of the past — but belongs unapologetically in the present.
India, Forward
We are proud of where we come from. But we are equally excited about where we are going. Kamalaire represents a new generation of Indian luxury — one that values craftsmanship, celebrates culture, and moves with confidence. We are not recreating heirlooms. We are reimagining them. Not confined by tradition. Not disconnected from it either. Just forward.
Jewellery That Becomes Personal
The true story of Kamalaire begins the moment a piece reaches you. At a wedding. At a celebration. On an ordinary day you decide to make extraordinary.
Because jewellery is never just metal and stone. It is an emotion. Identity. Memory. This is not just adornment. It is self-expression. And at the heart of it all is a growing community of women who love style as much as they love meaning.
Welcome to Kamalaire.
